The Skinny Millionaires front man and chief creative genius Mike O'Donnell, aka Mr. Mike/Mikey Millionaire, spent a few years living and touring with rock bands in Seattle and moved back home to Newport after he almost died when he was viciously attacked on stage by a deranged fan. Mike lost more than half of his blood after being stabbed three times; twice in the chest and once in the hand.

The Skinnies have a sound often described as
Bob Dylan-esque with a garage punk sweat expertly mixed with a lush and hauntingly beautiful Americana. The dark, brooding, folk-noir lyrics penned by Mike, mixed with the gypsy like violin of classically trained prodigy Meghan O'Connor, create an undeniably pure sound that has won over legions of hardcore fans and a loyal and devoted following.

The Skinny Millionaires are best experienced live. With an electric energy and an unpredictable nature, The Skinnies display the potential to completely self destruct at any second while seemingly remaining in complete control.
