Thank you for watching the official music video for Keeley Valentino's "Don't Forget Me Tennessee." The entire video was shot using Instagram's video feature. The Instagram clips were later imported into iMovie. They were not modified in any way except cropped to fit the frame. The only things added in post-production were transitions, titles, and the original recording as the soundtrack. Nothing was done to affect the integrity of the Instagram video capture — not even color correction. A free song download is available from Keeley's Youtube video channel. Keeley Valentino's music is a soulful flavor of folk-pop that lives somewhere between the infectious joy of Sara Bareilles and the lyrical poetry of Patty Griffin. Yet she still manages to infuse her sound with a fresh perspective that is uniquely her own.

Her career highlights include: releasing two independent records produced by Matt Mangano (John Mayer, Zac Brown Band) and mixed by Brandon Bell (Linda Ronstadt, Alison Krauss), being awarded Artist of the Year two years in succession while attending Musician's Institute in Hollywood,CA and having two songs on the Emmy-nominated series, Venice.

She has also gained the attention of the stellar songwriting community in Nashville. Her song "Hosea" was written with hit singer/songwriter Radney Foster (Keith Urban, Foster & Lloyd). She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area but commutes to Music City on a regular basis to write, perform and record.

She was a regional finalist in the NewSong Music Competition and is proud to have had opportunities to perform in iconic venues across the country such as The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and Room 5 in Los Angeles. Keeley is currently busy touring and writing for her next project.

Don't Forget Me, Tennessee (Lyrics)
Music & Lyrics Keeley Valentino/BJ Buckley Music (ASCAP)

Well I knew that I could never settle down here
But I never thought I'd leave
And pretty soon I'll be back out on that highway
And far away from here
Who knew that a town could take root in your bones
Long after give up turning a house into a home
I found myself, I built myself
To my surprise on this side of the Mississippi
I'm not leaving behind a single dream of mine
No I'm taking all your fingerprints along with me
Don't forget me, Tennessee

Yeah I carved out something pretty good here
Something pretty safe
Now my whole life is laid out on the carpet
Almost packed away
Picking and choosing through what matters most
Knowing a door is opening but feeling a chapter close
So much to remember, so much to miss after
Seven years in Music City
Goodbyes are never easy; no goodbye is ever easy
So I just might say nothing at all and leave
But don't forget me, Tennessee

I never meant to love you like I do
But fate ain't mine to steer and change and lead
But I promise you that I will come back soon
If you swear you'll remember me

Who knew that a town could take root in your bones
Long after you give up turning a house into a home
I found myself, I built myself
To my surprise on this side of the Mississippi
I'm not leaving behind a single dream of mine
No I'm taking all your fingerprints along with me
But don't forget me
Don't forget me
Tennessee
