DESCRIPTION:
This is a song I wrote for the oceans of the world.
The oceans really need our help, all the fish and aquatic species.
Like all life on earth they are so precious.

Plastic Bag song
I’m a plastic bag look at me;
I’m floating around in the deep blue sea
Just to show I’ve still creativity,
I formed two islands of plastic debris
Now islands are big, big as can be,
but this is bigger than America definitely
Every time I look there is more of me,
we’ve soon our independent nationality
But I just want to be owned,
I was sad when you left me alone
A boat’s got to come and get me,
I wasn’t born for this life on the sea,
Every piece from the last 50 years, is still out here!
Because I’m made so attractively,
birds and fish all want a part of me
Mistaken for plankton that’s all too yummy,
So you’ll find me in a fish’s tummy
I’m PVC, with flexibility,
that’s why I’m not stabile chemically
Though I try, to keep myself together,
bits fall off in this salty weather
But I just want to be owned, I was sad when you left me alone
A boat’s got to come and get me; I wasn’t born for this life on the sea
Every piece from the last 50 years is still out here!
It’s a problem today, what will tomorrow bring?,
So take a cloth bag when you’re out shopping
Everything we use must harmonise,
clean air and water gives clear blue skies
