RELAX through THE WHEEL OF TIME ~ 34th KALACHAKRA 2017

"RELAX through THE WHEEL OF TIME" was brilliantly and beautifully composed and sung by Rayko Batista, one of ChakraSamvara Center's sangha members. It is a song inspired by the teaching and the empowerment compassionately and generously transmitted by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, at the 34th KalaChakra through the intricate consecration of the sand mandala, rituals and prayers.

"relax, let’s relax
this is all a test
I tried my best
I didn’t want to let you go
I didn’t want to lose you so…
relax, just relax
there are no mistakes
the risk we take
You didn’t want to let me go
and so You never let me know
and things will always change for the better
the sun will shine passed the stormy weather"

The Wheel of Time compassionately provides a lifetime of learning. Through karma, we learn to use our five senses. Through miseries or painful interactions, our vision and hearing allows us to feel the pain and suffering of others so that we can learn to open our hearts and develop the innate bodichitta that nurtures our heart to be more compassionate through our actions and interactions with others. Through death, we can learn the concept of impermanence by accepting the constant shifting and changing of the complex mind that accompanies many births, deaths, and rebirths. A compassionate life and many reincarnations create a cycle much like a web consisting of beautiful actions and reactions that we uniquely weave. In this process, we learn non attachment and non aversion so that one day we can liberate from the clouds of delusions that keep us trapped and tied to the samsaric web of deception. When ALL actions and interactions are fully understood, resolved, and dissolved, then we can relax with the understanding of the true nature of this existence, on the path of complete purification and liberation at peace in Equanimity.

"Oh! what a tangled web we weave."
When first we practice to deceive". It originally referred to a love triangle in the play “Marmion” Sir Walter Scott, Life does become a bit complicated when first we start to deceive.

Deception is the complex destructive effect that affects life in this physical realm. When a lie starts, one remembers ALL the details of the lie, rather than the true memory, in order to keep the lie going when others ask about it.

When building a new home, the workers use one wooden board after another to frame the house. Instead of boards, spiders produce silk threads to weave their webs.

This silk is produced in silk glands with the help of the spider's spinnerets. These spinnerets are special organs that allow the spider to decide what type of thread it needs for the web. These silk threads can be thick or thin, dry or sticky, beaded or smooth. These webs can be quite elaborate and intricately complex. Making webs is instinctive for spiders, and it's in their nature to be born knowing how to create these silk homes.

In the relative truth, like the spider, we have the innate nature to understand how to intricately weave our life on earth in a very complex web of silk delusions, which cleverly traps us indefinitely. Unconsciously, we are wired to weave our life in compliance with the Wheel of Time and the reincarnations created by lifetimes of karmic patterns such as that of the aggressor and the victim.

The Wheel of Time keeps humanity locked into this set of conditions, the battle of good verses bad, negatives verses positives, victims verses aggressors, collectors, debtors. Yet, bad and negative actions are not so simply understood and their consequences not definitively negative. Often flashes of bad can awaken good in people or initiate changes in one's existence or a society, as a whole. In addition, the bad, especially a painful and suffering interactions of violence, breakups or deaths, can inspire people to look deeper into the nature of the situation or condition that's being presented to understand exactly what conflicts and causes the situation to arise or chaos to play out. In order to transform, The Wheel of Time must ultimately be understood as humanity’s machine and method for liberation as it allows people to begin as the trapped spider, victim to his cyclical work whose emotions of attachment and aversion powers it to endlessly weave a web around filled with deception and delusion, and end as an enlightened being who has learned ALL the lessons woven into the web and managed to resolve and dissolve ALL the confusion until they no longer have to spin and can rest in peace, Equanimity, one with GOD/BUDDHAS/EMC2 ~ EMPTIEDNESS (Minds of Compassion and Consciousness).
