The Prophet was written in 1923. It is about a prophet, Almustafa, who is about to board a ship back home when he was stopped by a group of people who ask him about life and the human condition.
Khalil Gibran was a Lebanese artist, writer, and philosopher. His best-known work is "The Prophet" which was translated into over 40 languages and has never been out of print.
