In the underground Myra is already well known. However, since she became the official support act for the Popstars group Room 2012 from the German television channel Pro 7 on their club tour, she became internationally known.

Already in early childhood Myra was drawn to music. At the age of five she learned to play the keys und took singing lessons. After her first band experience with On-Set, which she co-founded with her formerly school-pal Daniel Nitt (Xavier Naidoo, Til Schweiger, Rosenstolz), she started her own career as a composer and songwriter, which led to many pre-show gigs for Hip Hop artists, among them Grandmaster Flash.

However, only with her group Meine Allee she gained transregional attention as a singer; as part of the trio she was the lead singer, and also functioned as songwriter, composer, and producer. In 2006 she released with the other two members of the group Mr. Fri and Parson the LP Egal wie weit. In the underground the LP sold in no time. They received several newcomer awards, among them "BR3 Newcomer 2006," and secured themselves a place in the pre-show of Fiva Mc & DJ Radrum, Pyranhia, and Monrose -- the winners of the fifth Popstars season.

At the same time Myra devoted herself to her solo career and worked on her first album Still Here, which was released at the end of 2006. In the beginning of 2007 her group decided to break up to pursue their own careers. She is still working with Parson, now well known for his reggae music under his artist name Rojah Phad Full (Rootdown Records); 2009 she performed for his song "Per Klick," which made it to number 14 in the German reggae charts.

In 2008 Myra broadened her artistic horizon and developed the original music score for the independent movie Sick Pigs (TBC Fimproduktion), which was released on DVD on June 29th 2010 (VZ Handelsgesellschaft); she also developed the sound design. "It was a great challenge or me as the score included elements of different music genres like Rock, Electro, and Hip Hop. I had to create a certain harmony between these distinct musical influences," Myra explains. Her work on the movie was especially influenced by the cooperation with the established studio musician Dieter Roth, who worked with such distinguished artists like Lou Bega, Scorpions, Nevio, Gunter Emmerlich, and who is considered to be Myra's mentor.

In 2008, despite the workload of Sick Pigs, Myra still managed to produce her second album Keep Goin' On. Up until now, it never went quiet around the musical career of the Philippine singer. Her new album will be out in stores worldwide very soon! Stay tuned!
