After a gig in downtown Chicago involving, for lack of a better term, an "interesting" country band (they cared more about volume), Johnny decided to stop by FitzGerald's to check things out. Special Consensus was playing when we arrived. Greg Cahill, whom had not seen Johnny for a long time, spotted and immediately asked him to join the guys on the stage.
