DESCRIPTION:
They called me Martyr,
and so I started to believe that the world loved shame.
Just another game that everyone played.
I rolled the dice.
Found out I was christened and born twice
under the same stars and satellites that you look to
every night.
So I took the took the letters from my name; decided to rearrange
every note and every frame.
Everything I became.
And I knew that you
could never be right for me.
And I, yes I,
knew that I would die just to hear you breathe.
Even though I crawl on hands and knees,
failing to see others pleased,
I still believe we were a song sung by Destiny.
Its funny actually;
To know I've crossed dimensions,
and you've still failed to mention
how much you thought you meant to me.
So you took the letters from your name;
decided to rearrange,
every note and every frame,
everything you became.
And you, yes you,
knew that you were never right for me.
And I, yes I,
knew that I could die just to hear you breathe.
They held the relic to my eyes,
and I winced at just how bright you shined.
They held the relic to my eyes,
and I winced at just how bright you shined.
They said:
"Sinner,
You've peeked through open doors.
You've seen what lies before and witnessed her excellence.
With this mandate of Heaven
I will see fit,
that these fires will force your repentance,
and you'll never see the end of it."
And so they took the letters from our names;
decided to rearrange,
every note and every frame,
Everything we became.
And you knew that you were never right for me.
And I, yes I, knew that I would die just to hear you breathe.
Just to hear you breathe.
