Born in Port Arthur, Texas; raised in Alexandria, louisiana; finally moving to Aurora, Colorado in 1991, Julox has been representing A-Town & the Denver Rap Scene to his fullest. Julox brings the listener deep southern dialect with a very raw west coast sound.

As a youth growing up in the Bayou, Julox grew up listening to the likes of N.W.A., the Geto Boys, Ice-T and others, in later years he has been influenced by artists like Master P, Z-Ro and others, but he has always connected with the more raw & explicit lyricists. "Really, as long as I can bang my head to the song I'll listen to it, no matter what style it is. I just like good music." Julox Quietly started writing lyrics in 1992, maybe 5 or 6 bars tops, but once he heard Cailfornia based rapper, Brotha Lynch Hung, he buckled down and began to write his ass off. After graduating high school in 1995, he attended North Eastern Junior College on a basketball scholarship. After attending college and playing ball for two and a half years, he suffered a sidelining shoulder injury and rather than have surgery he dropped out and decided it was time to focus fulltime on his music.

In1998 Julox and a few other local Aurora rappers released "Mile High Bomb" as a group known as the A-Town Click, this CD sold respectively well in the Denver underground. Then in 1999 Julox released his first solo record, "Mr. 5150." This CD prceeded to sell 1,000 units in the local underground and earned Julox a dedicated following in Denver. Julox spent the next few years performing shows and just getting his name in the streets and building a reputation like no other. Then in 2003, Julox released his second solo record, "Cyco"(accompanied by a bonus also of the rare 1998 A-Town Click "Mile Hi Bomb" record, which was extremely sought after up to this point) which to date has sold 2,000+ units. With the release of "Cyco" Julox hit the road and made a name for himself selling CDs out of his trunk in New Mexico, Las Vegas, Kansas, Texas, Louisiana, Chicago, and Florida. While performing shows not only in Denver, but New Mexico, Kansas, and Louisiana as well. This dedication and work ethic earned him alot of love in Louisiana, getting his track "Counrty Boy" on a local radio station (106.9) and making the countdown a few times, which has led to some Louisiana record stores stocking his CDs. Julox also shot a video for the track "100 Bars". Shortly after the release of "Cyco", Julox released a screwed & chopped version for his most loyal fans and moved 200 units of this version.

Then on July 2, 2004, Julox released his 3rd solo record "U Sholl Iz Ugly." Thus began his dedicated grinding as he hit many of the same markets as before, once again Louisiana radio showed love and his tracks : "Lower 3rd" and "We Chillin 2nite" have recieved spins. His constant promotion and live performances have helped him move 1,700+ units and was the first reocrd released on his Ugly Azz Entertainment label. "U Sholl Iz Ugly" also moved 300+ units alone in Angelo's CDs (local independent record store that Julox works at) at it's Aurora location, to come in 2nd in the store's yearly best seller list.

2005 has seen Julox release two underground mixtapes, the first, "Black Supaman" which hit the streets in March, was able to pass out 700+ free in the streets and at shows in Colorado, Louisiana, etc. He followed up "Black Supaman" with the "Napoleon Smoke-All-Nite" mixtape in early June, to date he has passed out 1,700+ for free in the usual markets. Julox is also currently in the studio putting together his next mixtape, "R&B: Rap & Bullshit"; which is due to hit streets soon. Also since the 1st of the year Julox has performed a hectic 100+ shows. He has had the honor to share the stage with the likes of Coolio, the Luniz. Too $hort, Bone Crusher, Ja Rule, Lil Flip, Twista and others. Julox is an extremely dedicated artist willing to do whatever it takes, has a top notch work ethic, and is set to take it all to the next level.
