TSU 40th Anniversary Jazz Festival
The 40th annual jazz festival at TSU will run for three days and feature a variety of exciting performings including Jon Faddis, Tia Fuller, and the Conrad Johnson Big Band. There will also be a jazz ensemble competition for Middle and High School Jazz Ensembles. The event culminates with a Gala Concert featuring various Texas Southern Jazz performing groups and Special Guest Artist, Jon Faddis. Additional events include: Noon Kick-Off Concert (Outdoor on the Plaza) Jazz on Film (04/12), "Stormy Weather", with an after film performance by The Conrad Johnson Orchestra (CJO), featuring Julie Johnson. Tia Fuller Saxophone Clinic (04/13).
