ESENCIA FLAMENCA - CastroRomeroFlamenco

I'm proud to share this promotional video I just produced for my dear friends Ricardo Castro and Rosario Castro Romero. Castro Romero Flamenco are in San Francisco performing a very special show at The Palace of Fine Arts Friday, October 9th, and The Fox Theater, Redwood City, Sunday, October 11th.

Ricardo Castro Romero and Rosario Castro Romero have received international recognition as principal dancers in the world's most prestigious stages. CastroRomeroFlamenco was the first flamenco company to be invited to dance at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 2008, the Castro Romero siblings were honored with Spain's National Prize for Dance as Living Cultural Treasures.

Earlier this year, Rosario and Ricardo choreographed a new production of the opera Carmen (Georges Bizet) for Moscow's Bolshoi Theater and were the featured flamenco soloists. All their performances have been sold out months in advance, and they have received great critical accolades by Russia's theatrical press.

CastroRomeroFlamenco has toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America and is pleased to be returning to the San Francisco Bay Area to perform original musical compositions with an outstanding ensemble of musicians.
