Born to the world as Jesse Willson on Feb. 4th, 1988. The now inFamous Jesse Tampa wasn't always on the top of his game. There was a time when a young middle school version of Jesse Willson was struggling, trying to break in to the game of rapping. Now being a Mexican American, it wouldn't be fair to categorize Jesse as being "white". Although, many people don't care about the talent of his music. They see the color of his skin, and they immediately think that he can not rap worth two shits. Well they are dead wrong, and they are only hatin' on him because they wish they sounded as good as he does. To get back to the main story, Jesse started out by writing. He wrote with a friend of his named Eddie Perry. They both started this group, Eddie went by the name of E3, and Jesse was going by the name of M-Unit (Which stood for Mexican Unit). The group never really got too far. They would freestyle during P.E. from time to time, but that was never really enough. Jesse and Eddie went their separate ways with the time, and Jesse once again found himself out on his own. He continued to work on his writing skills. A poet at heart he was, lyrics coming from the soul. He refused to call himself a rapper, when he did spit lyrics; he wanted to be referred to as a Rhymist (lyricist). No one really knows why Jesse Willson quit rapping or writing raps for such a long time. After middle school Jesse Willson gave up on his dreams of becoming a real rapper. Well so much time has gone by since then and now (4 years). Jesse Willson changed his name to Jesse Tampa, and that's when every aspect of his life started to look up for him. This is where the story below kicks in. But before you read that, know that Jesse Tampa is no fake. He is the real deal, challenge his writing skills, he dares you. When he puts his mind to it, he gets it done, and prevails. The truth is, his whole rap game has changed. He used to rap about stupid problems back from his middle school days. He now is known more widespread for his glorification through rap of the city of his birth, that is right, the great city of TAMPA. He also has the ability to rap about all kinds of other things. Anything he chooses really. That is all you need to know about Jesse Tampa for now.
