Bio: I was born May 84' in Long Island, New York. My grandparents raised me since birth--so all the old school soul I listen to and sample today are because of them. In 1999, my family moved to Riverview, Florida when I was 15 years old. I attended East Bay High School--graduating in 2002. Since I was a kid, I always had a passion for drawing cartoons. So in 2003, I attended the International Academy of Design and Technology. I dropped out in 2005 for financial reasons. So I was bored one day and decided to mess around with this program called Adobe Audition. My friends called my DJ Laptop as a joke since I made beats on my portable computer. Since then, that was what I went by. I even took what I learned in Art School and drew a form for my alter ego. DJ Laptop is a "Gorillaz" inspired animated group which consists of Laptop himself and his Japanese robot sidekick, Robo-Mothra (Mothra is the name of my cat from college). After my grandmother passed, I moved back up north. But now, I'm back in FL
