“The only way that the dead who were made alive live, is if the living are now willing to die.”

J'son

“Can you imagine God in the flesh invisible seen as visible/infinite seeming finite/spirit becoming physical/it's odd man God man slept and obeyed/the earths confines to breathe the very breath that he made/he would sweat/he would weep/even eat/ for his hunger/defeat death/ within three/so we’d see/ that he’s stronger/could give us anything even offer us wealth/that wouldn’t be love if he aint offer himself. /”

So begins "Who Is He" - J’son’s provocative 21st century lyrical epistle to the hip hop influenced Body of Christ. After completing his debut album entitled The Seasoning, J'son now plans to drop his Sophomore project entitled Life On Life June 2008.

With rough vocals and gritty punch-lines as his trademark, J'son encourages believers to be poured into (discipled) by those who are more seasoned in the faith. He then challenges them to understand that they are called to pour their life into someone else. The Christ exalting jam with hard drums and rock feel titled “Who Is He” - J'son and Lecrae team up to express the importance of how seeing Christ for who he is should affect our daily lives.

With power house producers such as Crossmovement’s J.R. and N.A.B. from So Hott Productions, along with Tony Stone and hot new comers - Naz and Chike: this album will surely be something to ride to. Json also features national recording artists such as Flame, J.R. (for Crossmovement Records) as well as Lecrae, Tedashii and Trip-Lee (for Reach Records).

Though rapping seems to be what has placed J’son in the mainstream eye, his main dedication is to his local church home, New Direction in North St. Louis with pastor David Baker. There, J'son has grown and served since he first came to Christ in 2001. Ordained as a minister for over a year now, J'son remains active by teaching adult Sunday school as well as leading a youth bible study. He is currently married with two beautiful children. J'son is a fan of biblical teachers such as John Piper, John McArthur, Paul Washer, J.I. Packer and many others. If you would like to know more about J’son please visit:www.Json116.com
