D.A. Horton, a.k.a Azriel currently serves as Senior Pastor at Truth Bible Fellowship (an inner-city church plant in Kansas City, MO), which is strategically positioned in the center of the KC Metropolis, literally placing D.A. and his congregation at the heart of 2 million people. D.A. is preparing his congregation to begin evangelistic efforts involving the contextualization the modern day culture in order to; win the lost to Jesus Christ and set up Bible-Centered Covenant Communities for the growth of genuine believers. D.A. has become known for his devotion to unashamedly proclaiming Jesus Christ to the urban context. His podcast, "Didcatics with D.A. Horton", receives thousands of downloads a month as it can be heard on iTunes and HolyCulture.net



D.A. has ministered nationally and internationally through Bible-centered evangelistic rap and preaching for over twelve (12) years. In 2008 D.A. and his wife of 6 years Elicia released "Help Wanted”. D.A. and Elicia have since been lead by the Lord to have Elicia partner with Daughters of Jerusalem and D.A. pick up his solo Gospel-Rap ministry under the stage name of Azriel.



D.A. holds a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Calvary Bible College and an Masters Degree from Calvary Theological Seminary. D.A. is now working on his D.Ed. Min at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. D.A. was licensed and ordained by Mt. Washington Baptist Church in November 2007. D.A. and Elicia have two daughters, Izabelle & Lola.
