Joannie has started composing a few years ago coming back from Berlin to Montreal. To compose has relieved and brought her to this special place inside where there is no barrier.

She now composes full-time between concerts, exploding the frontiers of her feelings through music. Bea Box is for her a laboratory where she creates music within a deep sense of freedom.

Joannie has kicked off her solo career with a bunch of local and overseas Bea Box concerts, she is a grant holder from Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec and LOJIQ, and won the second place at Festival Atmosph’Air 2016. She recently received five « Coup de Coeur » at MUZ 2017.
