Lyrics
Intro (spoken):
A life full of colors
Like a Danish countryside
Its just me and my brothers
Along for the ride
We want more bike rides
Its time to shut that door
It’s the turning of the tides
Life is such a chore
Verse:
I desire for something sweet
Looking over fields of wheat
In my eyes there are tears
Displaying all my fears
Painting colors on my teeth
Like a demented masterpiece
Saccharine goodness is must
Give me some in return for trust
Pre-Chorus:
Why are awful things so sweet?
A life full of pain fixed with this treat
Chorus:
They tell you to taste the rainbow
So now I buy into corporate greed
Nothing brings me more joy
A pouch of hues is what I need
Verse 2:
Without these confections
Life lacks connections
A needed glucose spike
To get me through the night
Money spent on poison pieces
Until the day my soul releases
There will never be enough
I will always want this stuff
Pre-Chorus:
Without those flavors life is black and white
They keep me awake throughout the night
Chorus:
They tell you to taste the rainbow
So now I buy into corporate greed
Nothing brings me more joy
A pouch of hues is what I need
