DESCRIPTION:
Plastic Heaven (featuring Will Jordan), is the lead single from Andrew Joslyn's upcoming 2017 LP, "Awake at the Bottom of the Ocean." Violinist, Composer and Orchestrator, Andrew is a contributing songwriter and composer on the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 4x Grammy award winning album, “The Heist”, as well as Macklemore's follow up album "This Unruly Mess I've Made" and with who he has toured the world and performed on the Tonight Show, Grammys, and American Music Awards.

Andrew is a wide-ranging performer. He and his Passenger String Quartet have toured and performed with folk legend Judy Collins, David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), Kygo, Odezsa, Allen Stone, Duff McKaggan (Guns N’ Roses), Suzanne Vega, and Ivan & Alyosha.

As a songwriter, composer and film scorer Andrew has worked with Tom Chaplin (Keane), Mary Lambert, Mark Lanegan (Queens of the Stone Age), Kris Orlowski, Doug Martsch (Built to Spill), Brent Knopf (El Vey, Menomena), Augustines, Tim Lopez of the Plain White T’s and others. His feature length film score for the movie, American Violence, a dark crime-thriller, is due in theaters February 2017, starring Denise Richards, Bruce Dern and Kaiwi Lyman-Mersereau and directed by Timothy Woodward Jr.

Andrew’s formative years were spent studying classical music. However, while studying music composition in college, he broke from the regimented routine of his classical training, which lead to his exploration and artistic involvement in contemporary music ranging from rock, folk, world too hip-hop, film, and electronic.
