Musical Bio
Singer/Songwriter Jonelle Marie grew up in a small Midwestern town in rural Illinois and has been writing and singing since the young age of three. Her first writings were published in a poetry book at the age of eight.
At the age of fourteen, Jonelle began modeling and continued to model through her high school years, but with music being her first love, Jonelle quite modeling to concentrate on the music industry. Shortly after she turned twenty one, Jonelle joined her first cover band AKA. Jonelle performed through out the Chicago area with AKA for three years, wowing audiences, before she met Bobby Scumaci (Dave Mason) at a performance near Chicago. Jonelle and Bobby joined forces and he produced her first c.d. entitled Listen. Jonelle and Bobby carefully assembled a team of musicians from around the U.S. who played on the project and added a diverse mix of talent to each song. Jonelle Marie broke on to the radio airways via Chicago area station WJDK-FM and several other stations across the United States since.



Her first single Not Your Doll has become an online download hit, drawing in over 100,000 downloads in the second half of 2004 and continued on to hit over 200,000 in the beginning of 2005. DSN Network (www.dsnmusic.com) named Jonelle Marie DSNs Top downloaded artist of 2004. The Coal City Courant newspaper refers to Jonelle Marie as Country meets coffeehouse and the Morris Daily herald refers to Jonelle as an "emotion-evoking , smoky toned singer whos artistic passion has been trying to break free since childhood."
Jonelle has already found a unique audience for herself , via the internet and live shows. A global audience has embraced her sound and has been exposed to her talents. Most recently Jonelle ecstatically accepted the invitation to join "The Clients band" playing the northern and central Illinois circuit.
