John Type is a Italian-Filipino DJ, turntablist, songwriter and record producer, 3rd place DMC World Champion 2008, has various releases with Irma Records, Universal Records and collaborations with with Negrita, a multi-platinum selling band in Italy.

In over 10 years of his career he has performed in various clubs and festivals in Europe, Asia, South America and the United States. His knowledge relating to music technology, led him to work for Vestax, and currently as a testimonial for Ableton.
