This is a very rare, stunning electric guitar that under normal circumstances would only be available directly from Japan and is a model that was intended to be exclusively for the Japanese Market. Edwards Guitars are the Japanese arm of ESP guitars and they create exclusive models intended purely for sale in Japan ... We are therefore extremely fortunate to have this classic single cut-away shaped guitar that has been made famous by another globally recognised guitar manufacturer.

The Edwards E-LP-92CD-JS John Sykes Signature Model shown her in black with mirror-effect hardware is a single cut-away model crafted from Mahogany with a Carved Maple top. It's dimensions have been transposed from one of John Sykes's own favourite guitars that he used in the 1970's and the Edwards John Sykes Signature Model takes its inspiration from that particular 1970's model. The neck is also Mahogany however it has been matched with a beautiful Ebony fretboard with block inlaid fret markers, sound comes courtesy of two Seymour Duncan Humbuckers with an SH4 at the bridge and an SH-1n at the neck position - these are managed via the usual 2 tone and two volume controls.

The mirrored hardware on this Edwards E-LP-92CD-JS John Sykes Signature Model was added after Sykes saw Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott using his famous Black bass with the mirrored scratch plate and took inspiration from that combination by adding his own mirrored hardware to his black signature Edwards model.This series of guitar has been used by Sykes on some of the most popular and iconic albums such as the 1987 Whitesnake album.
