DESCRIPTION:
2012-10-22. This is what I got from a traditional Ecuadorian music band - a shaker made of... lama hooves! Never heard of anything like this, but it seem to be a traditional Andean instrument - just checked up - the traditional name of this is "chác-chás". The sound is very crisp and cool. Have no idea how they collect the nails from the animal, hope they don't kill it for this. Added to my shaker collection.
