I have a new ambition. Thanks to a friend I am going to start writing again.writing songs that suit me and satisfy me taste and styletouring in Europe has giving me new goals toobut I am still the same old Johnny)_____



Here is something my TRUE friends should know about me. or even if you are not a friend yet I live for the truth and the real world. I can't stand self centered, full of themselves , selfesh people. I hate being used. When I play a kids show it is for the kids. When I play a show for adults . it is for the people They pay the money to here a good show and that's what I am all about It's not about the money or the Big Glory Name up in lights. It should come from the Heart. The real heart not a fake hide behind the Story line if you know what I mean Most people can't handle what I have to say Cause most people can't handle the truth Life sucks sometimes Eh. haha Tommorrow is another day and Yesterday's gone Here's hoping that you actually took the time to read my whole Bio if not that's cool I just love to play and sing. My performances always come from the heart I have nothing to hide))). One last thing you should always remember who you really are, where you come from, and how you got there never forget the people who helped you along the way funny how life has a way of getting you back))))

Johnny________________________________________________________________ Born In Windsor Ontario Canada Feb. 9th 1962 Raised in Listowel as my dad traveled

from place to place with his job and it took a while before finally settling down. Never taking music lessons. I took up the piano as a teenager and joined my first band in 1979. My first real gig was a Terry Fox run fundraiser in 1980. Being an avid hunter, trapper, welder, and millwright. I always fell back on my music. It seemed to be the only thing I could count on for my salvation. Playing in many bands over the years, motels with holes in the walls and ceilings falling down, the decision was made to play only weddings, private functions and fund raisers. What a great Decision! For 12 years it was bar free. Since the last band decided to part ways, it was time for me to realize my dream and write my own songs. Thirteen being my lucky number, the decision was easy when there where 13 songs that where mine on the album to call it Johnny Borton 13. My goals are simple, if someone buys my songs and uses them, so be it, if someone wants me and a band to perform them, so be it. Whatever it takes and wherever it takes me. The album was 3 years in the making and it is finished. Music will always be my life and with Good friends like Gregg Dechert producing my album and countless other people encouraging and helping my dream is finally a reality! Enjoy the Album.
