DESCRIPTION:
I got this Irish tune from Brighton-based fiddler Ben Paley. It's played here in D (more or less!) on a mandolin made for me by Ian Chisholm of Ditchling in Sussex (UK), with a fingerstyle backing on a classical guitar also made by Ian. I recorded the mandolin first and then added the guitar backing.

"Johnny Allen" is also known as "An Bhearan Tinceara" or "The Tinker's Wife".
