DESCRIPTION:
Sebastian Gürtler, first violinist of the Hugo Wolf Quartet, displays his other virtuoso talents by singing songs in made up Chinese, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and even Arabic. Also a gifted impressionist, he seamlessly transforms into various well-known celebrities. Together with music and comedy expert Aleksey Igudesman, he embarks on a zany musical journey, at the centre of which stands an Automatic Violinist who only functions using a remote control.
Violins become street market balalaikas and insane operatic medleys flow throughout the show. Whether it's a tango from Argentina, a musette from France or a song from Vienna, the two violinists manage to astound the audience with new playing techniques on their instruments, always maintaining a brilliant musicianship.
