Zoo Drive was essentially a studio band who backed many recording artists in Los Angeles during the '80s. As a group or in combinations they appeared on as many as 60-80 recordings including major albums, film scores, demos & even tv commercials.They were hired by leading Hollywood producers & labels and worked in the best LA studios.Record Plant,Cherokee,Westlake,Village,A&M (now Henson),Oceanway,Capitol,Conway,Mad Hatter,Baby O to name a few.
Zoo Drive did however write & record their own material and gig occasionally. This song, a John Goodsall composition w/ a rare lead vocal from John (Paul Delph was lead vocalist on most Zoo Drive songs) came from at least 20 -30 demo tracks recorded in Malibu CA.
Paul,Doug & Ric sang harmonies on the chorus.
