DESCRIPTION:
This is one of my favourite pieces by the english composer John Dowland. Originally for the lute, It was composed during the renaissance period. Notice that I play it in a key just a little bit lower than normal. Some specialists of this kind of repertoire may argue. I think it brings a deep feeling to this music. I really like it that way. Voici une de mes pièces préférées du compositeur John Dowland. Originellement pour le luth, elle a été composée à la période de la Renaissance. Remarquez que je la joue dans un ton un peu plus bas qu’à l’habitude. Certains spécialistes de ce répertoire pourraient critiquer. Je crois que cette façon amène une profondeur et une émotion particulière à cette musique. J’aime la pièce exécutée de cette manière. John Dowland (1563-1626).
