John Clark (The Baker Act)

John Clark's sound has been described as, "60's Folk Revival". His acoustic driven songs reflect on the relevant issues of our times.
Backed by his band, The Baker Act, the group takes the genre, "Folk-Rock" to an entirely different level.
It's been an exciting year for me. My song, "Hope In Hard Times" was selected by, Michelle Shocked, as part of her "American Idle 2010" tour. It is also featured on her website: www.michelleshocked.com. I was then asked to perform during her Central FL tour dates. To say it was a thrill would be an understatement.



I would hope that my music would inspire the listener to reflect on socially relevant issues. Change can only come if we make our voices heard! We are all one people, one voice, one brother and one sister.
Music has and always will be the medium we use to communicate with each other.
I hope that my music will inspire you to think about our world situation.
The universe is music and I am only one of the many channels.
