DESCRIPTION:
The Gargoyles were a garage/punk rock band from San Francisco, who existed from 1989-95. This is a tape with a green cover I ripped. It seems to be a compilation of songs from various LPs, EPs, and singles. All originals, I think, except for their cover of T. Rex's "Children of the Revolution" and Iggy Pop's "Kill City".
Seems to have been a project of vocalist Tim Storm, with different lineups including Doug Heeschen, Lisa Lombardo, Alison Victor, and Neil Smith on guitar, Julia Altstatt and Tony Palmer on bass, and Brian Tyranny on drums.
