DESCRIPTION:
Joe Richardson is considered by many to be the quintessential modern day Austin blues master. Joe has over thirty years experience under his hat and a sound reminiscent of artists such as Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Howlin Wolf and ZZ TOP.

Every Saturday night for the last twelve years Joe has been performing at what some regard as the last real live music venue on sixth street in Austin, Joe's Generic Bar (Joe Richardson is not the owner).

Joe has recently opened shows for artists such as George Thorogood, ZZ TOP and Dave Matthews.
