DESCRIPTION:
Legendary jazz pianist and composer Bob Dorough came to London in February 2015 to perform at Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho, organised by Joe Paice. The band was singers Trudy Kerr and Sarah Moule, bass player Geoff Gascoyne and drummer Seb de Krom. Simon Wallace filmed them at Underhill Studios, London the day before Bob went back to the US. Here they are performing the Ben Tucker/Bob Dorough song 'Comin' Home Baby', originally arranged by Bob for his Duets album. Bob wrote much of the music for School House Rock and was one of the few singers to have a vocal track on a Miles Davis album (The Sorcerer).
