The Sapphires 1963 Where Is Johnny Now / Your True Love. This was their first single, but it didn't chart.The B side is the better tune and it's also on my channel. Thought I would dedicate this to my four legged boy Jonny, my "Son From Another Mom" lol.
The Sapphires were a vocal trio from Philadelphia U.S.A and comprised of Carol Jackson (lead vocalist), George Gainer and Joe Livingston, better known for their Northern Soul hits "Gotta Have Your Love" "The Slow Fizz" and "Who Do You Love" tunes. I've always liked Carol's voice, another underrated female lead singer, in my opinion.
