Thanks for stopping by! I've been fortunate enough to make a living on the Row writing songs for 22 years now. Next best thing to retirement as my old pal Peeps used to say. :) Anyway, I grew up in Riverside, Rhode Island and started playing drums at age 12 after watching a Paul McCartney and Wings network TV special. Played in a trio throughout high school playing some night clubs in and around the Providence area and went on to study at Berklee in Boston, MA. where by osmosis I started playing guitar, piano and writing songs. Moved to Nashville and luckily signed a publishing deal with BMG. Spent 10 years there before moving on to Tom Collins, Acuff-Rose, Murrah Music and a Warner Chappell co-venture company called Amylase Entertainment.

Through the years some of my songs include THE NUMBER 1 COUNTRY SINGLE "IN PICTURES" recorded by ALABAMA on RCA Records and the THE TOP 10 SINGLE "SHE SAID YES" recorded by RHETT AKINS on Decca Records. Josh Kear and I have a song called "FOREVER SEVENTEEN" that is included on TIM McGRAW's newly released Curb Records CD "Southern Voice" and a song called "SOMEONE IS ME" that appears on both KENNY ROGERS latest Capitol release and BLAINE LARSEN'S latest RCA release. JASON ALDEAN included a song co-written with Mike Mobley called "BACK IN THIS CIGARETTE" on his CD "Relentless" and LUKE BRYAN'S debut Capitol release includes our song "TACKLEBOX." Universal recording artist Mallary Hope, Tracy Byrd and Michael Ray have also recently recorded songs of mine for upcoming releases.

Other artists who've been generous enough to record my songs include REBA MCENTIRE, DAN SEALS, JOE DIFFIE, DERYL DODD, DARYLE SINGLETARY, LINDA DAVIS, ROBERT ELLIS ORRALL, DUDE MOWREY, JEFF AND SHERI EASTER, MIKE WALKER among numerous others.
