DESCRIPTION:
In march this year my daughter Yasmin and I were together in Morocco, in the lovely fishing village Essaouira.
We visited my friend Imad, who was born and grew up in Essaouira. He is a Gimbri player and knows the Gnawa Sufi -music very well.
For a month we lived in the middle of the Medina (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Our days were spent mostly with drinking coffee, eating good food, watching people, doing meditation and playing music. Therefor the medina was a great source of inspiration.
So we wrote this song "Mogador" (the old name of Essaouira) and recorded it in Yasmin's room late at night, when the medina was already asleep long since…
Because I had my little sony camera  with me, we decided to make that video in the medina and Imsouane as well.
We hope you like our song and the video, that is made with lots of love and share it with your friends!
