Jeneral Lee began rapping in late 1990 in middle school with his friends @ recess azza hobbie just 2 kill timeJeneral Lee then linked up with 2 of his childhood friends from Freedom West Homes also known az Death West in the Westen Addition/Fillmore district Jeneral Lee who iz known 2 his peers az J.L.Double E or J-Lee formed a group with his hood homie J-Metts now known az Metropolitan called F.M.W. which stood for Frisco"s Most WantedJeneral & Metro rapped over every instrumental from Too Shorts the Ghetto to The Ghetto Boys classic My Mind is Playing Tricks on me.In late 1991 Jeneral Lees mother took notice to her sons knack for rapping and bought him a kareokee machine.From there Jeneral rapped over every instrumental possible and start making homemade tapes just for his neighborhood 2 hear.All Jenerals friends would come over his house 2 record their on raps and make homemade tapes also.@ the same time Jeneral Lee hung out and sold drugs inside Freedom West Homes and Hayes Valley housing projects better known az Death Valley Posse which were Freedom West"s allies.Jeneral Lee also had several run-ins with S.F.P.D. which landed him in Youth Guidance Center better known az Y.G.C. a Juvenile Hall facility in San Francisco.Jeneral Lee went back in forth 2 Y.G.C. like it was his second home for saling drugs and assaulting citizens with weaponsin juvenile Jeneral did push-ups lifted weights wrote raps and wrote letters and watched CMC(California Music Channel).Jeneral eventually got tired of going back in forth 2 juvenile and wanted 2 hit da studio so he can get heard.There was already local legends in the Western Addition/Fillmore district such az Rappin 4-Tay,JT The Bigga Figga,GLP,Dre Dog(Andre Nickatina) and Hugh E.M.C. which kept Jeneral Lee motivated 2 keep rappinAround 1993 Jeneral Lees cousin Mac-Al started a click within Freedom West called D.A.P. which stood for Down Ass Playaz and Jeneral was all in.Unforuantley Mac-Al caught a gun charge and had 2 go serve 18 months in Glenn Mills in PensylvaniaJeneral ended up catching a possession of sales charge and was sent back 2 Y.G.C. and got senteced 2 12 months.From there Jeneral wrote his cousin Mac-Al and told him that he wanted 2 use the name D.A.P. for his rap group.Mac-Al wrote him back and said it was coolJeneral wrote raps here in there until he was releasedJenerals big homie Bay Skerz took him 2 Gigalo G"s(A Fillmore Producer) studio in the Lakeview district but Jeneral did"nt rap he just observed what was going onAround 1995 Jeneral and his partners in rhyme Metropolitan and Darrell-B now known az Do Betta made a song called Slap Ahoe Capital which was a Death West hit.It grabbed Jeneral Lee"s big homie Big Bird also known az Double B"s attention where he wanted 2 put money behind his young Death West homiesBird knew Slap Ahoe was a hit and wanted it 2 be recorded rightHe introduced the D.A.P. to the Track Boys formely known az Game Bound Playaz(G.B.P.) outta San Jose who fell in love with the D.A.P."s unique style immediatley.From there D.A.P. recorded dope ass songs @ G-Rock studios also located in San Jose,Ca. everything was looking like it was about 2 be all good until Bird stop taking the D.A.P. to the studio due 2 a financial situation.The D.A.P. had no choice but 2 go back and sale drugs again.But Jeneral Lee still kept a personal contact with Track Boys in house producer R.E.G. where he recorded solo songs to try to stay focused on pursuing a rap career it was around 1996 or 1997.From there the D.A.P. rap group went there seperate ways. Jeneral"s cousin Mac-Al started a record lable called D.A.P. Productions and wanted Jeneral to start a new D.A.P. group with himJeneral agreed but Jeneral ended up catchin a 10 month bid so the D.A.P. album was delayedMac Al recorded songs while Jeneral was on lockdown and then Jeneral was released from the county jail in late 1998.While on lockdown Jeneral killed time working out and writing raps.Soon az Jeneral came home he got on his longtime Fillmoe friend Deco-D"s album Surgery To The Game where he featured on 3 songs and was also on the cover of the album.Mac Al was workin on a EP called Certified Mackin which Jeneral hopped on 3 songs.JT The Bigga Figga put out 2 compilations that Jeneral got on called Enterprise and Family Business.Also G.B.P. put out 2 compilations that Jeneral was on so things were lookin good.Unfortuantley by 2000 Jeneral Lee was on his way 2 San Quentin State Prison,after he was pulled over for a traffic stop in Oakland where O.P.D. planted drugs on his person.The charges were dropped but Alameda County violated Jenerals probation and after waving time in Santa Rita for 11 months Jeneral was senteced to 3yrs in State PrisonJeneral went to San Quentin from there he went to Corcoran from there he went to Susanville where he went to Work Furlough.Jeneral got into it with one of the counselours and was sent back to San Quentin to finish his time.Jeneral was housed in North Block with a Lifer for a celly and just wrote raps and hit the yard with his homiesWhen Jeneral was released Mac-Al and R.E.G. kept him in the studio recording for the Bosses N Block Monstaz comp and Diamonds And Platinum album all on D.A.P. Productions.Jeneral ended up catchin another violation and was back to San Quentin where he did a 7 month bidJeneral was released in time to see Diamonds And Platinum drop.Then in summer 2003 Jeneral was arrested for Pimping and Pandering.After getting the case dismissed California Department of Corrections decided to violate Jeneral and gave him 12 months flat to think about it.Jeneral was sent to Tracy Ca, Dual Vocational Institution (D.V.I.) from There he was transfered to Soledad Ca, to finish his time out 5 months to Jeneral"s release he caught a battery on a correctional officer Jeneral was sent to the whole and was sentenced to 2 extra years which was a dealJeneral served a 12 month SHU(security housing unit) programIn the whole, Jeneral wrote about 80 songs including verses,, when Jeneral was relesed from the whole he went to North Yard in Soledad which is a level 3 .Jenerals celly was a guy from Frisco name Poppa Tate(P.T.) P.T. dug all of Jeneral"s song.P.T. encouraged Jeneral to keep writing and keep reppin Frisco in his raps because people outside of the bay area be having The City F@$%^d up.Jeneral wanted to bring some light to Frisco and let everybody know that Frisco has a gangsta side to itSo Jeneral wrote a song saying every turf in Frisco and named it Sco Bidness or no Bidness.P.T. loved the song and said it was a hitBut he did"nt like the name so P.T. told Jeneral Lee that he should call it Theres No Business Like Sco Businessand from there it was a wrapJeneral wrote about 20 more songs before he got released.When Jeneral was released in 2005 he was more then ready to record.Jeneral finished recording his cd by 2006 but ended up getting in trouble with the law again on another Pimping and Pandering charge which delayed his cdJeneral fought his case in San Francisco"s County Jail in murder max on the 7th Floor.Jeneral got out in March 2007 and was sent back in May 2007 By his parole officer for missing a parole appointment and had to sit in San Quentin for 3weeks for missing a parole appointment due 2 a flat tire.Jeneral"s CD finally dropped in Sept2007CD sales are doing good with just word of mouth promotion.Jeneral will drop a re-release of Theres No Business Like Sco Business in the beginning of 2008 for keepin the fans waiting for so longThe re-release features some of Fillmoes own.Rappin 4-Tay Willie Henn Seff Da Gaffla Munip and more so stay tuned to one of Fillmoes finest the wait is almost overBut if you dont have patience for the re-release.Jeneral Lee"s cd is in stores nowTheres No Business Like Sco Business.Get it on line type Jeneral Lee in your computer to purchase it.Well this iz Jeneral Lee"s music pageSo i suggest you slap these songs and enjoyDown
