DESCRIPTION:
This clip is from an audiovisual work in progress combining music with painted animation for a series of performances inspired by Emergence, starting on the 20th April at the Turner Contemporary.

We will be posting clips regularly as the work evolves and changes with the music influencing the visual content and the visual content subsequently influencing the musical composition.

Composer Jim Perkins and artist and animator Em Cooper present the first of 3 audio-visual performances inspired by Emergence, the controversial topic currently gaining momentum in popular cultural thought and which crosses the boundaries of science, art, religion, philosophy and theology.

The performance combines live piano and vocal performance with digital manipulations and oil paint animation and will take place at the Turner Contemporary on 20th April 2012.
