Song and Video Theme:

"Run Baby, Run" is about running forward towards your own happiness - be it achieving certain goals, pursuing a dream or just generally creating the life you desire for yourself. It's told from the perspective of a person who has been given such advice as, "don't ever wait until tomorrow for your time in the sun," and is now passing those words back to that same friend, who needs to hear them as well.

The video tells the story of pursuing goals and finding beauty and happiness in creation and exploration. You have to put in the time and the work, and follow the things that are pulling you - create the path - don't wait for anyone else to provide the way.

More specifically, it follows the journey of the creation of the album "The Girl You Thought You Knew," from the studio, to it's release and it's subsequent 2014 US release tour.
