DESCRIPTION:
Jonny 'JFlex' Nicholson is a 19 year old unsigned independent rap artist from Kansas City, Missouri. Ever since rap music was introduced to JFlex at an early age, his biggest dream was to become a successful rap artist. Throughout his school years, Flex would spend time dreaming off, and writing lyrics in his journal. It was not until entering his Freshman year in high school that JFlex, then 'Royal Roy', recorded his first track, a tribute to his Highschool team. Word caught on like wildfire around the school and everyone wanted more. He followed up by dropping a handful of new songs off of his mixtape "Showtime" which was never officially released. With schoolwork and sports taking up the majority of J's time, he slowed down on making music.. though, the dream lived on.
Upon graduation in 2013, JFlex spent 50 hours a week working a factory job. While working, Flex would often listen to his favorite artists and daydream about making a career out of his music. It was at that moment that JFlex started work on his first mix tape "In This World". With now 14 official tracks complete, the mixtape is set to release by the end of 2014. JFlex is definitely an up-and-comer in the industry and a name to be on the lookout for in the near future!
