Once again, there was no better way to begin the Community Arts Program (CAP) Summer Concert Series than with toes a tappin' and spirits a soarin'! In 2012, by popular demand, Preservation Hall Jazz Band returned to the CAP Summer Concert Series for another incredible opening. And, what a treat to present the CAP's very own ALL-STAR Jazz Ensemble as the opening act for the Preservation Hall Jazz Band!

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band derives its name from Preservation Hall, the venerable music venue located in the heart of New Orleans' French Quarter. Preservation Hall Jazz Band has traveled worldwide spreading their mission to nurture and perpetuate the art form of New Orleans Jazz.
