DESCRIPTION:
from my 10/25/09 CD Release Show @ The Orphanage (Chicago). These were the only covers I did, the rest were from my new CD, "Thoughts at an Intersection"; unfortunately, the video portion is pretty dark, so this is all I'll upload (the audio's OK).
Part 1: I call out for Bruce Springsteen, & to explain my 1-sided relationship I sing the classic "Someone to Watch Over Me" (Gershwin).
Part 2: At approx. 3:03, I call out, "Bruce Springsteen, where are you?!" and up runs "Bruce"! (aka my dear friend & good sport Noah Zacharin). Together we sing "Working on a Dream" (Springsteen) & I play a harmonica solo!
Other band members: Jessica Fogle, Keyboards; Jim Hines, percussion; Dean Milano, Bass; Jeff Frankel, electric guitar; Kathryn Lake, violin; Meg Lauterbach, cello. NZ as Bruce, vocals & guitar.
Videography by Mary Lewis.
