DESCRIPTION:
Jenn Grant’s sixth album Paradise was recorded at her secluded home studio in Lake Echo, Nova Scotia, and is described as expanding “to a glactic realm never before explored by the songwriter.”

“I wanted to explore new soundscapes,” Grant explained, “I thought about my singing much more. I feel like I am a completely different artist from when I began performing. I don’t feel like I really heard my own voice until recently.”

While creating the song “Galaxies”, which she performed for us, she “pictured people standing at the edge of the earth, hands outstretched, asking, ‘What is bigger than us, than any of this?’” Her new music certainly captures a sense of wonder and mystery felt while gazing up at the universe.
