as you probably already know this past spring i released my latest album Heart Knows How. i'm currently working on videos for two songs off the album that are to be released this fall. one of the videos will be for the single "A Soldier's Love." it is a song dedicated to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have been deployed far from home and fighting wars for the last decade. "A Soldier's Love" is not a moral statement nor does it have any political agenda. it is simply my attempt to portray what some of these brave individuals have been experiencing for the last ten years.
if you or a loved one is serving or has served in the military during the Iraq and/or Afghan wars and would like to take part in this project here's how. just send me a picture of yourself or loved one (preferably in uniform but not totally necessary) including name and rank. i can't promise every picture will be used but i will promise if we do use your photo it will be done tastefully and respectfully. this is obviously a very REAL subject matter and i think it appropriate to honor real people making very real sacrifices. something i think our national media has lost sight of. i'm really excited about this project and looking forward to your participation. thanks guys!
