'Wrinkled Face', last song from a fine set of self penned songs, when Jelske played support for Jan Akkerman & band (with guest Eric Vloeimans), when she performed at the Gebouw-T venue, in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands, on Saturday, May 19th, 2012. A fine performance, though some background noise from audience, due to low volume setting of sound system.

Last Saturday, May 19th I was in Bergen op Zoom @ GebouwT the schedule for Jan Akkerman & Eric Vloeimans care. I arrived there around 7pm, and I was immediately surprised by the appearance of the Poppodium. From the outside an old building, and inside, completely renovated in a modern style. Around 9pm, I started playing and was amazed at the large audience that was already present. In addition, they listened attentively to my songs. What more could you want?! After my performance, I enjoyed the great performance by Jan Akkerman & Eric Vloeimans. It was really tight and wonderful to listen to. For me it was certainly an evening to repeat!

I am a 26-year-old singer-songwriter. I sang in several bands, including the cover band 'Khick'. I am always busy writing songs. This has resulted in 10 English songs on my debut album 'Breeze'. The music I write is true to myself, and is light pop, which occasionally tends toward jazz, blues and even funk.
