Jeff LeBlanc is using his college degree a little differently then first expected. What started as a series of dorm room concerts at Sacred Heart University has rapidly evolved into a full-time livelihood that has given him the opportunity to share the stage with Matt Nathanson, Ingrid Michaelson, Third Eye Blind, Joe Brooks and Augustana.
During his first year in NACA, Jeff landed the student selected On-Site Showcase at his first two conferences; the first person to ever accomplish this feat in the 50 year history of NACA. Following the success from these conferences, Jeff secured shows at over 50 colleges and universities throughout the country. Publications such as The Ionian of Iona College boldly claimed Jeff to be "the new John Mayer" while The Circle at Marist College dubbed him "perfectly in tune with his audience". Others have just called him "instantly likable".
His debut full-band release, "Signals", was recorded in a two-week whirlwind of sessions with producer Stephen Gause. What emerged was an accurate representation of LeBlanc's diverse musical tastes and a brand of "left of center" pop music that is truly his own. The record has taken notice; scoring licenses for use on major television programs such as One Tree Hill, The Real World, Ghost Whisperer and The Hills.
With his debut record in tow, Jeff LeBlanc returned to the place that truly gave him his start in winter of 2010; Sacred Heart University. However, this time around Jeff had graduated from the dorm room concerts to a sold out show at the Fairfield Theater.
