DESCRIPTION:
Dale Stephens was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, in 1957, but spent most of his teens in the Netherlands where he attended a conservatoire (a public school of music). He formed his first group, Malta, at the age of 17 (1974) in Amsterdam. The group recorded a single and appeared on Dutch TV, but in 1977 Stephens decided to return to South Africa. He formed Freeze, but went solo soon afterwards.

This song reached number 8 on the South African Top 20 in 1981, charting for 11 weeks.
