DESCRIPTION:
After a few years of writing and recording the band finally released Jazz Ethics - Primary Colors in 2007. It was a slow and tedious process, but in a way I think it is some of our best work. The main thing I remember most about the whole thing is just how long it took us... recording and re-recording...then mix...then re-record again. I thought it would never end. When it was all said and done I was so sick of all the songs from hearing them so much...I couldn't listen to it...HA! In the long run it paid off because we got more radio play than any other release. Especially locally, we had a very solid 9 week run on the Columbus jazz station and other regional stations. The core band was once again:
me, Lar Wolkan - all guitars, harmonica, & whip (haha)
Jason Greenwald - pianos, keyboards, & lead vocals
Craig Friedman - fretted & fretless bass
Kevin Truman - drums, percussion, whistles, finger snaps, & back-up vocals
