I had the Silver Jews singing "Random Rules" with me when I drove with my brother to San Francisco. I had Van Morrisson's "To be born again" lighten my cowboy days in Saskatchewan. In South American gaucho land, I listened to the sound of silence, sheep and Marisa Monte.



What are your favorite kinda songs? I like the ones that run and slip between the road and the sun, the ones that sweeten your mind and awaken what you'd forgotten for too long. I like to travel with my favorite songs. They stick with you forever. Do you have good traveling buddies?
