"Incredible song!- you should submit this to the BMI new music showcase." -Erica Tompkins, Associate Director of Writer-Publisher Relations, BMI, on reviewing "Whispers of Love"
"Jason draws from the same energy coming from the grand landscape that energized Fogelberg's creative spirit." -Mountain Music Magazine, Nederland, Colorado
"Wilder is an enormously talented singer-songwriter and could very well fill the shoes of the late Jim Croce who has been sorely missed since his untimely demise in the 70's. He brings a warmth and sincerity to his music that has been unheard of in the music industry for more than 30 years." Mike V, Program Director, Hidden Sanctuary Radio, Live 365 Network
"Jason Wilder's stage presence and performances are "Class A", and his songs are sung from the heart. "Jason Wilder" is destined for stardom."Vaughan Mason, Hip Hop Producer, Musician and Songwriter who's songs and music have been recorded by 50 Cent, The Pet Shop Boys, and Lil' Kim and is also known as the "Father of the Bounce Sound".
"Jason Wilder was a wonderful addition to the 2007 Crestone Music Festival. His witty songwriting and stellar vocals were a big hit with the crowd. The crowd's exhuberant call for an encore was well deserved. We look forward to having him back next year!" Tom Dessain, Executive Director, Crestone Music Festival, Crestone, Colorado (www.crestfest.org)
"Jason Wilder opened up for Ryan Shupe & the Rubber Band at the Hotel
Colorado and was entertaining, engaging, and created a wonderful atmosphere
for the rest of the show!" Dave Reynolds, Show Producer, The Hotel Colorado, Glenwood Springs, CO

"Presence.not something one finds too often in music - known or unknown. This boy could expand out into other realms if he wanted to, and get noticed- if he wanted to. Jason must have talked to the same old Wolf Ghost that inspired John Denver in the way back. Some things are so good they're spooky." The Consenus Music Review website (formerly Gods of Music.com) after reviewing "Crestone"
"Me and my husband saw this incredible singer-songwriter by the name of Jason Wilder perform last night at the San Luis Valley Brewing Company, and he had the most beautiful, sunny male voice I have ever heard. You really need to hear this guy's music!" .Rhonda Larson, Grammy Winner, addressing her audience at Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado in April 2007. (Rhonda is a Grammy Award Winning Flutist who's original music can be heard on the TV Show "Survivor" and on the TV Show "The Restaurant") By permission of Rhonda Larson, www.rhondalarson.com
BIOGRAPHY
Sounding like a cross between the singer-songwriters of the 60s & 70s but with a modern rock, pop, and folk edge in the vein of Ryan Adams and David Gray, Colorado based singer-songwriter Jason Wilder is rapidly gaining the attention of his home state and beyond. His charismatic stage presence and distinctive Jim Croce ('Bad Leroy Brown", "Operator") meets Ryan Adams (Dancing when the Stars Go Blue") original sound is quickly making itself known wherever he's heard.
Jason Wilder's original style evolved from his unique upbringing- living on the road with a father whose real life persona was like that of a character drawn straight out of an old Hollywood road flick! As a child, Wilder traveled frequently with his father, a fisherman and painter, up and down the East Coast of the American South in search of greener pastures and seasonal employment. The people and places he's experienced along the way have made their way into his unique style.

Wilder's first fully produced song, "Whispers of Love", released as a single in 2003, has garnered an impressive list of credentials, including a number 1 hit on the Internet's third largest Arbitron-rated adult contemporary radio station (VMIX on Live 365), a number 1 spot on the UK's Mp3Songs Top 100 Unsigned Artist Chart, MP3.com Adult Alternative Top 40 (edging out the still as yet unsigned Evanescence at the time), as well as being chosen as a Top Finalist in the 2007 UK Song Contest and the 2005 Unisong International Song Competition. Wilder also released an early demo of his song "A Matter of Time" on Garageband.com's A&R website, reaching number 6 in Pop in March of 2003.

As a performer, Jason Wilder has shared the stage with Leon Russell and John Lee Hooker Jr. and recently opened a sold out show for the Capital Records based band Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, CO in August of 2007. In March 2005 he opened a sold out show for the Indie band Groovelily (whose lead singer was a former member of Cyndi Lauper's band) at the Patterson Arts Theater in Baltimore, MD, and has performed at several notable festivals, including the 2007 Crestone Music Festival in Crestone, CO, the 2007 Taste of Colorado Festival in Denver, CO, and the 2004 Susquehanna Music & Arts Festival in Darlington, MD.
Wilder has also performed live on several Colorado radio stations, including KZYR 97.7 FM The Zephyr in Vail, KRZA in Alamosa, KHEN in Salida, and KAFM in Grand Junction, as well as WRNR in Annapolis, MD.

Whether entertaining folk music lovers in acoustic venues or getting rowdy bar crowds to dance, Jason Wilder is a highly versatile, charismatic, and talented singer, songwriter, and performer. He currently has a 3-song EP for sale at live shows and is nearing completion of his debut album, due out in August of 2008, and gearing up for a promotional tour of the West soon after.
