DESCRIPTION:
A song of lament from the Lost Dog's "Old Angel" album. The album was inspired from a road trip the band took down the historic Route 66. The Christian life can include great joy but also times of terrible lament. God understands expressions of both and allows it from His children. Jesus certainly understands suffering. In spite of how we may feel or think God remains true and worthy of trust. He keeps HIs promises. Tradition teaches that the Prophet Jeremiah wrote the book of Lamentations, thus Rembrandt's painting of Jeremiah is also included in the slide show.
