DESCRIPTION:
Jann combines a verse from both Pete Seeger and John Prine's classic songs and gives new meaning to them. This was filmed at Acoustic Cafe in Park Ridge, NJ on May 31, 2014. This medley came to Jann when he was singing on Roz Larman's FOLK SCENE radio show.

He's sung "Angel From Montgomery" through the years, and has visited and sung with Pete a few times. Pete gave Jann insight on musical immigrants, and part of that insight covered Marlene Dietrich who has a dramatic German version of "Flowers." Like Jann and Marlene, Pete is of German heritage though he was born in the States.
